Congress leaders postpone floor test till Friday?

The Congress-JDS alliance may postpone the floor test until Friday which supposed to be held tomorrow a day after the swearing-in ceremony. Tomorrow Speaker and Deputy Speaker will be appointed in the house.

According to reports, in a meeting held in Hilton hotel, Congress leaders decided to postpone the floor test until Friday. The Congress leader yet to discuss the issue with alliance partner JDS. the reason for the delay is not yet known.

Meanwhile, reports emerge that D K Shivakumar and his brother Suresh are upset about the former not getting the post of deputy CM. The Congress leaders are trying to get in touch with the two leaders. Shivakumar had played a key role in ensuring that the Congress and JD(S) stayed together ahead of the trust vote.
