Congress-JDS alliance likely to have 2 Dy CMs
KPCC President G Parameshwara said the High Command will take call on the appointment of Deputy CM in the Congress JDS alliance government.
He said that the party is also pondering about creating two Deputy CM posts in the coalition government.
In a press conference held in Hilton Hotel, Parameshwara said the party MLAs will stay in the same hotel until the swearing in ceremony is over.
As far as elections in RR Nagar and Jayanagar is concerned the question of alliance will not arise and the Congress party will fight independently.
Assembly election in RR Nagar was postponed due to seizure of 10000 voter ID cards and in Jayanagar due to passing away of BJP candidate BN Vijaykumar.
The Congress won 78 seats and JDS 37 in the recently concluded Karnataka assembly elections. BJP's BS Yeddyurappa resigned as chief minister without taking floor test on Saturday. JDS Karnataka President HD Kumaraswamy will take oath on Wednesday.
