New Delhi, April 21: It looks like this is not a good time for Congress, as party is under the eye of storm for number of reasons.

From Ishrat Jahan to Samjhauta blast case, the grand old party is facing flak for trying to malign BJP and presenting itself as the well-wisher of Muslims. Sonia Gandhi-led party is being criticised for its 'Muslim appeasement' politics.

Amid fresh revelations in various terror probes, Minister of State for Home, Kiren Rijiju on Wednesday slammed Congress, saying Congress had an agenda in coining the term "saffron terror".

The statement came a day after NIA gave a clean chit to accused Lt Col Prasad Shrikant Purohit, a member of right-wing fundamentalist group Abhinav Bharat, in the 2007 Samjhauta blast case
