Bakshi started her foot march under the banner, CrossBow movement, as a part of which she met men and women belonging to various walks of life in 12 states in the country during her journey.
"This is not just an awareness builder. Everyone knows about growing violence against women. But there's only too much noise and no action. CrossBow is an action-oriented initiative, where we interact with diverse audiences on multiple problems concerning women," she told The Hindu in an earlier interview.
"I believe technology can be a sustainable and long-term solution for a lot of issues that women face," she added.
Her initiative and achievement have not gone unnoticed, and Bakshi is currently receiving congratulatory messages from various admirers. Here we post a few of them:
She is none other than the daughter of Lt Gen Ashwini Bakshi (Retd), former GOC 11 Corps and Colonel of the Bihar Regiment. https://t.co/9EdUyFyGJ1
