Congress leader compares PM Modi to Hitler, calls HRD minister Smriti Irani 'bai'
New Delhi, July 31: Congress general secretary Gurudas Kamat has raked up fresh controversy by taking a swipe at Union HRD Minister, Smriti Irani. Kamat who is Congress in charge of Rajasthan has termed Irani as 'bai'.

The controversial statement was made by Kamat while addressing a public meeting in Rajasthan.
"Her (Irani) family's financial condition was not good; therefore, she worked in a hotel in Versova. Since, Smriti was only 10th pass, she cleaned tables in the hotel," Congress leader said.
Not only that, Kamat also targetted Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying that he is least interested in addressing plight of farmers. Congress leader further accused that Modi made 'uneducated' Irani union minister because of some 'self interest'.
Kamat who was in the State for municipal elections campaigning was quoted by website as saying, "As soon as BJP came to power in the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made Smriti a Minister. Uneducated Smriti has become 'Mai Tulsi Tere Aangan ki`"
Taking a swipe over radio programme 'Man Ki Baat' Congress leader even compared Prime Minister Modi with autocrat Hitler.
"What does a person who deserted his wife 40 years ago know about family happiness? What can he teach people?", Kamat was quoted by a website.
