Chhota Rajan tells CBI: Take me to India

New Delhi, Nov 2: Chhota Rajan has told the Indian authorities in Indonesia that he is not opposed to being in Indian custody.

Meanwhile the CBI team which is in Indonesia along with officials of the Mumbai crime branch have completed almost all formalities and Rajan is most likely to land in India tomorrow.

There have been no hiccups in the process of bringing Rajan down, an officer informed OneIndia. There are a few more formalities to be completed before Rajan is flown out of Indonesia tomorrow. Moreover Rajan too has stated to both the Indonesian and the Indian authorities that he has no opposition to being taken to India.

However officials are still unclear about where Rajan would be taken first in India. Most likely he will be taken to New Delhi first, sources informed. However he will remain in Mumbai where a majority of the cases against him have been registered.

A team of the CBI and the Mumbai crime branch left for Indonesia yesterday amidst high security to complete the formalities relating to Rajan who was arrested last week. The team spoke with Rajan in Bali and he is said to have informed that he wants to return to India. The officials were told that he has no opposition to being taken to India.
