Challenge accepted, use your Hublot watch to decide time of debate, Yeddy tells Siddaramaiah

B S Yeddyurappa has accepted Siddaramaiah's challenge for an open debate. Yeddyurappa said that Siddaramaiah should use his Hublot watch to decide on the time for the debate.

The Hublot watch reference was to an allegation that the BJP has levelled on the Karnataka Chief Minister. The BJP alleged that Siddaramaiah had received the watch from Vijay Eswaran of the QI Group of Companies for allegedly facilitating operations of the group.

"I have asked Yeddyurappa to join me in an open debate. PM Modi is welcome to join. I will speak extempore. They can bring paper," Siddaramaiah tweeted. "Come on BSY let people see who they are voting for beyond the smokescreen created by hot air from Modi-Shah-Yogi team," Siddaramaiah added.

Yeddyurappa responded by saying, "I think your Hublot watch suggests you the right time to show up for a debate. Do get Vijay Eswaran, your fugitive friend along. Do carry the diary of L Govindaraju. Let us also debate: Turning Lokayukta Powerless, Farmers' suicides, Sand Mafia, Honest Officers' Transfer," Yeddyurappa tweeted.
