CBSE CTET registration begins; know exam details

New Delhi, August 2: The registration for CBSE Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2018 began on Wednesday, August 1, and interested and eligible candidates can log on to www.ctet.nic.in for the same.

The candidates can apply through the given format latest by August 27 (Monday) and the fee can be paid till 3.30 pm on August 30 (Thursday).

The registration process for CBSE CTET 2018 was scheduled to begin from June 22 and the last date for submitting the online application form was July 19.

The exam will be held on September 16 (Sunday). This is the 11 the edition of CTET to select candidates eligible for appointment as teachers for classes I to VIII.

How to register for CBSE CTET?

1: Click on the website www.ctet.nic.in

2: Click on the link "Apply Online"

3: Fill in the online application form and note down your 'Registration Number'/ 'Application Number'

4: Upload scanned images (between 10 to 100 KB) of your latest photograph (image dimension should be 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height)) and signature (3.5 cm (length) x 1.5 cm (height))

5: Pay the exam fees by e-challan or debit or credit card

6: Print confirmation page for record

Exam fee:

General/OBC:

• Only Paper I or II: Rs 700
• Both Papers I & II: Rs 1200

For SC/ST/Differently-abled:

• Only Paper I or II: Rs 350
• Both Papers I & II: Rs 600

Languages:

The CTET examination will be held in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Garo, Gujarati, Kanada, Khasi, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Mizo, Nepali, Oriya, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Tamil, Telugu, Tibetan and Urdu.
