Budget 2018: AAP highly disappointed over step-motherly treatment to Delhi
Land in Delhi comes under Centre. Yet no plans announced to regularise unauthorised colonies or give more land to Delhi govt to build clinics, schools, hospitals and bus depots.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) expressed disappointment over Budget 2018, lamenting that the Centre did not pay heed to party's request for more grants for the development of National Capital Region (NCR). Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy CM Manish Sisodia criticized the budget in series of tweets.
Arvind Kejriwal tweeted, "I had expected some financial assistance to important infrastructure projects for national capital. Am disappointed that Centre continues its step-motherly treatment to Delhi."
Manish Sisodia, tweeted," Disappointing #Budget2018. Not a single extra rupee increased in Delhi's share in Central taxes since 2001-02, stays at Rs 325 Cr. No other part of India gets such treatment. BJP govt at Center continues to treat Delhi residents as second-grade citizens."

" I had personally requested a special package for 2000 electric buses for Delhi, which could have played a major role in combating air pollution. Unfortunately, BJP govt does not care for Delhi."
