Encounter in Kashmir: Five terrorists gunned down
In a fierce encounter that broke out in Budgam, five terrorists have been killed by the security forces. The encounter began early Thursday morning following a tip off by the security forces.
The terrorists who died in the encounters are from the Jaish-e-Mohammad and Lashkar-e-Tayiba, official sources said. Another encounter had broken out at Baramulla. Both encounters are still underway.

The terrorists were hiding in the Fultipora area and started firing at the security forces which resulted in the encounter. Prior to the encounter, acting on specific information the forces cordoned off the village and launched a search operation. One civilian was injured in the encounter.
