Budding jihadis in Pakistan want to either be gangster Dawood Ibrahim or Burhan Wani when they grow up. This was the indication that was given to Talha, the son of Hafiz Saeed, chief of the Lashkar-e-Tayiba.

In an event conducted on February 5, Talha is seen urging the crowd to wage a war against India. He keeps asking the crowd what they want to become. "Do you want to become a doctor, engineer, judge or a policeman?" he asks.

Dawood Ibrahim

To this the crowd responds in the negative. He then asks if they want to become Dawood Ibrahim? The crowds screams out, 'Yes.' He then goes on to ask them if they want to become Burhan Wani. The crowd once again says, 'Yes."

He then says that they should fight the war against India in the name of Dawood or Wani. The notorious don, who is an accused in the Mumbai serial blasts has taken refuge in Karachi. He has been accused of funding the LeT and other terror groups in exchange for protection.

Wani, the commander of the Hizbul Mujahideen had become a poster boy for jihadis. It was in his name that the Kashmir unrest was planned.
