Dharmendra Pradhan likely to be Central observer to choose new Karnataka CM
Bengaluru, July 26: Ending days of speculation, BS Yediyurappa on Monday announced he will resign as Karnataka Chief Minister. While addressing the two-year anniversary of his government, Yediyurappa tenders an emotional farewell speech and announced his resignation.
"It has been an honour to have served the state for the past two years. I have decided to resign as the Chief Minister of Karnataka. I am humbled and sincerely thank the people of the state for giving me the opportunity to serve them," said Yediyurappa.
