Brave news anchor reads out news of her husband's death in car accident
News anchor who kept her composure during a live broadcast on Saturday as she read out the details of a car accident in which her husband had died.
28-year-old Supreet Kaur, a news anchor with Chhattisgarh's private IBC-24 channel was reading out her routine 10 am bulletin. After few minutes she was asked to carry out a breaking news where a Renault Duster SUV had crashed, leaving three dead and two injured.
Though the identity of the victims was immediately not known, the reporter at the scene gave the details of the type of the car and the area the vehicle was travelling in.
However, Kaur realised that she was reading out the news of her husband's death Harsad Kawade, whom she had married a year ago.
The brave anchor finished her show and went off-air after which she broke down. Supreet Kaur was married to Harsad Kawade and lived together in Raipur and has a daughter. The incident has since collected quite a few salutes on Twitter.
