IPL Controversy: Shahrukh Khan lands in legal trouble for KKR, summoned by ED

Mumbai, May 12: In a major setback for Bollywood's King Khan, Enforcement Directorate (ED) summoned him. Shahrukh Khan has been summoned over forex violation.

According to reports, it was found that shares of Shahrukh Khan's team -- Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) were undervalued. Hence, the actor will be questioned by the ED.

The actor has been asked to appear before the ED by the end of May 2015. However, Shahrukh Khan's office overruled all reports saying the actor has not been served any notice so far.

Shahrukh Khan's manager also informed that the actor cannot be summoned in such cases as any notice would go to KKR and not to any individual.

Here it can be mentioned that Shahrukh Khan earlier in 2011 was questioned as it was alleged that money illegally flowing into his IPL cricket team from foreign tax havens during the second season.

Media reports claimed that the Bollywood superstar was asked to submit documents relating to the buying of players, advertising, revenue and the share holding pattern of his franchise.
