Blue Whale game: 'Once you enter, you can never exit,' read suicide note of TN victim
After Mumbai, West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh, the disastrous online game Blue Whale Challenge has claimed life of a 19-year-old college student in Madurai.
In yet another shocking incident, a 19-year-old college student from Thirumangalam in Madurai committed suicide by hanging himself when he was alone at home following instructions on the infamous 'Blue Whale' online game on Wednesday evening.
Police also found an image of a whale carved into the Vignesh's left arm after which they suspected that he had played 'Blue Whale' game.
The victim also wrote a suicide note in which he wrote, "Blue Whale - This is not a game but danger. Once you enter, you can never exit."
Vignesh was the second year B.Com student in Mannar Thirumalai Naicker College. His friends have reportedly told the police he was spending more time than usual on his phone - the only clue that he was deeply engaged in the game.
