Blood will flood the Chinese rivers, IS warns
Just a day after Islamic State boss, Abu Bakr al-Bhagdadi posted a farewell to Iraq video, a strong message vowing to fill the rivers of China with blood has emerged. The message from the Uighur Islamic State fighters promised that they will fight the Chinese.
China has raised concerns about the Uighurs (mostly Chinese from China's Xinjiang region) and said that many of them had left for Iraq to train with the IS. The Uighurs have been in a battle with the establishment for long.
A 30-minute video, shows Uighurs training in Iraq. They seek out revenge for the killing of their men who have been in an ethnic battle with the Han Chinese. They claim that several hundred of their men have been killed. The video also shows a Chinese flag go up in flames.
"We are fighting with the infidels across the world. Stay strong. We will plant our flag over China, America, Russia and all other infidels," says a man in the video according according to a Reuters report. The man also referts to Communists as infidel lackeys.
