'BJP worked against giving Yeddyurappa’s son a ticket', says Siddaramaiah
There is a possibility that I may become the chief minister of Karnataka again as the elections are being held under my leadership, Siddaramaiah said. Speaking at Vijaypura, he said he could not say that only he could become the CM if the Congress comes to power in the state.
Siddaramaiah once again reiterated the point he had made earlier and said that he is sure that the BJP and JD(S) are in a tacit agreement with each other. "I have records to prove that H D Kumaraswamy had travelled with Amit Shah on the same flight," he added.
On Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Karnataka, Siddaramaiah said it would have no impact at all. He also spoke about why Yeddyurappa's son, Vijayendra was not given a ticket from Varuna. He said that several BJP leaders, particularly Anant Kumar Hegde had worked against him to ensure that he was not given a ticket.
