BJP to win 113 seats in Karnataka Assembly Elections says survey
The survey states that if a poll were held today, the BJP would get a simple majority.

A survey in Karnataka gives the BJP 113 seats in the forthcoming assembly elections. The poll survey agency Creative Center for Political and Social Studies (COPS) gives the ruling Congress 85 and the JD(S) 25.
Incidentally this is the exact number of sears that the BJP had won in 20018 when it took Karnataka under the leadership of B S Yeddyurappa.
The survey which was conducted in September states that if a poll were held today, the BJP would get a simple majority.
The survey also goes on to state that the Congress would win a majority of the seats in the Old Mysuru region. It says that the Congress would 21 out of the 37 seats in the Old Mysuru region and 16 out of 32 in the Bengaluru region.
The survey predicts a clean sweep for the BJP in Coastal Karnataka, Mumbai-Karnaaka and Hyderabad-Karnataka region. The survey says that in the HK region, the BJP would win 25 searts. In the Mumbai-Karnataka region, the BJP would win 36 out of the 56 seats. In Central Karnataka, the BJP and Congress would share the honours, the poll also says.
