New Delhi, July 22: Preparation for the Lok Sabha elections in the northeastern states are being done in its own way but the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Tripura is organising training for the newly entrant members in the BJP set up. They are being taught, informed and made to understand working and ideology of the party.

Sources said that in the last Assembly elections the BJP was barely able to save deposit on one seat in Tripura where it got around 5000 votes on a seat adjoining Assam. But in last elections the BJP and its ally Indegenous People's Front Tripura was able to form the government in the state by winning 43 seats out of 60 seats. But after the formation of government it is difficult to keep your flocks together as aspiration increases and everything cannot be done as per wishes of prty workers.

It becomes all the more important if the party workers are from different political parties either from the Communist Party of India (Marxist) or Trinamool Congress. So the party is organisisng a training in all the sixty Assembly seats of the state where one per cent of the party workers especially those who have joined the BJP from other political parties will be trained. Sources said that if there are 40 thousand BJP people in any constituency then 400 people will be given training.

These people will help the party in every aspect. The party has also plans that some committed people out of these people will be given one more training and such people who have taken second training, they will be accommodated in the organization. Party sources said that the organisation is doing all this exercise in view of Lok Sabha elections in 2019. Tripura has two parliamentary seats.

Sources said that if this plan of the BJP succeeds, it could also be replicated in West Bengal where the party has a bigger stake and lots of TMC and CPI (M) workers are joining the BJP in the state. The BJP is looking forward to replicate the Tripura model in West Bengal however, political analyst say that it is like being too ambitious for the BJP.
