BJP flays AAP govt over advertisements
New Delhi, Jul 25: Criticising the AAP government over its advertisements, Delhi BJP today alleged the party was "misusing" government money to prepare a "platform" for itself.
"The situation is worsening in Delhi and the way government money is being misused. On the name of government, a party platform is being prepared through advertisements," said Vijender Gupta, BJP Legislative Party leader in Delhi Assembly.
Gupta also condemned the language and words being used against Lt Governor Najeeb Jang, by the government functionaries.
"Lt Governor is not an individual but a constitutional arrangement. But today the kind of language and words are being used, whole constitutional arrangement in being made into a joke," he said.
He further charged that the Delhi Government has "failed" to fulfill its promises and all is being done for "political benefits."
"The government has stepped back on various promises including welfare of women and appointment of Lokayukta," he added.
