Bizarre: Man chops off his finger to celebrate Nitish Kumar's victory!

Patna, Nov 23: As JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar, alongwith RJD and Congress 'grand alliance' secured a landslide victory in the recently concluded Bihar assembly elections, celebrations had broke out in the entire state.

Many supporters of Nitish Kumar showed their admiration for their leader. But one man from Oina village in Jehanbad district showered his affection for Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in a unique way.

53-year-old Anil Sharma, a milk seller, also known as Ali Baba, is famous for sacrificing his finger, whenever Nitish Kumar becomes chief minister of Bihar.

According to reports, Sharma chopped off his finger for the third time on Friday, Nov 20 and offered it to the Holy river Ganga, on the day when Nitish took oath as the CM for the fifth time.

On Sunday, Nov 22, he even visited Patna, 53 kms away from his village, to meet and congratulate Nitish.

Unfortunately, his wish to met him could not be fulfilled, as there was a long of visitors outside CM's residence. So, he left for his village.

While talking to a leading daily, Sharma said that on Friday, he chopped off his left little finger with a sickle, around 2.30 pm.

After offering the severed finger to the deity 'Goraiya Baba', he immersed in the Ganga, he revealed.

In 2005 and in 2010 too, when Nitish had become CM, Sharma had chopped of his one finger each and offered it to the deity.

To celebrate Nitish's grand victory, Sharma also wishes to sell one of his Jersey cows to hold a feast in his village.

Sharma, a bachelor, also said that he would have committed suicide if Nitish did not win. Sharma, who unique act is termed as sheer madness, has three cows and he earns Rs 20,000 a month by selling milk.
