Bengaluru CCB arrests Chhota Shakeel's aide
Bengaluru, Nov 18: The Bengaluru CCB (City Crime Branch) netted a man suspected to be an aide of underworld don, Chotta Shakeel.
The man identified as Syed Niyamath alias Rehman, according to the CCB was a rowdy sheeter and has as many as 8 cases lodged against him. Niyamath is a resident of Bismillahnagar.
There was allegation that Niyamath had paid money to another rowdy sheeter, Brigade Azam to murder a politician of Karnataka. Besides, he was conspiring to kill few leaders to fan communal tensions in the state, the press release of the CCB said.
The CCB says it has substantiate evidences to suggest that Niyamath is Shakeel's aide.
"We have documents to prove that he was in constant touch with Shakeel." the officer informed OneIndia
