Bengaluru: Biker molests air hostess; police yet to nab culprit
An air hostess was allegedly sexually assaulted by a biker in Bengaluru on February 12.
Bengaluru, Feb 20: Reports of alleged sexually assault of a woman in India's IT hub Bengaluru has shocked the residents of the city on Monday. In fact, an air hostess was sexually assaulted and injured by a biker on February 12 in the city's posh residential locality, HRBR layout.
The 24-year-old victim filed a complaint with the police on February 14. In spite of almost a week now, policemen are yet to arrest the culprit.
"An FIR has been registered against an unknown biker who molested an air hostess on February 12 near HRBR layout at Banaswadi Police station," reported ANI.

"The air hostess along with her friend was walking towards her house in HRBR layout at about 10pm on February 12 when a biker approached them. The man wearing a fullface helmet started misbehaving with the air hostess and tore her top. She also suffered injuries in the attack. The biker sped from the spot when the two women raised an alarm," reported India Today.
Bengaluru Police told the media that a case under Section 354 (outraging modesty) of IPC has been registered and investigation is on. The incident has come to light more than a month after the city was rattled by a series of molestation cases against women.
