Be on time in office: PM Narendra Modi tells minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal
When NDA had formed the government at Centre in May 2014, PM Modi had chalked out a list of do's and don'ts for his council of ministers.
Coming to office at punctual time was also one of the directives told by Modi to be followed by the ministers.
Recently, the Union Cabinet Minister of Food Processing and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) MP from Batindha, Punjab was given a gentle reminder of coming office at proper time by none other than PM Modi.
Modi reprimanded Harsimrat when he was informed by the PMO that she is not reporting to office on time.
According to reliable sources, Modi reportedly told Harsimrat, "Being a minister, it doesn't suit you to come to office late. You should set an example in front of your officials by coming before the scheduled time. If you will come late, then how will others learn from you."
Sources said that Harsimrat took Modi's words seriously and has started coming to office on time.
