Baliga murder: Police seize Naresh Shenoy's Toyota Innova car

|

Mangaluru, June 14: It appears Mangaluru cops are inching closer to nab Yuva Brigade leader Naresh Shenoy, main accused in RTI activist Baliga murder case. On Monday, June 13 a team of police seized Naresh Shenoy's car from B C Road in Dakshina Kannada district.

According to sources Toyota Innova belonging to Naresh was captured from a hotel in B C Road and is now placed in Barke police station in Mangaluru city. The car bearing registration number KA 19 MA 9501 was secretly hid in an upscale hotel by an aide of Naresh Shenoy, Vijay Shenoy.

It reliably learnt from the police sources that, Vijay was once enquired by the police. However after seizure of the car, Vijay is making all the desperate attempts to set his foot on run. The cops have to be extra careful in keeping radar on Vijay so that he won't be slipped out of hands.

Details in RTO site also show that car belongs to Naresh Shenoy

Moreover, sources say Vijay too was part of a conspiracy played by Naresh Shenoy to slay RTI activist Vinayak Baliga. Arrest of Vijay will make the cops to move nearer to Naresh Shenoy. In all likelihood, Vijay would be having information of Naresh which will further facilitate the cops to nab accused Naresh who is still at large.
