Sexual assault case: Asaram Bapu's son Narayan Sai granted bail
Ahmadabad, April 16: Self-proclaimed Godman Asaram Bapu's son Narayan Sai on Thursday, April 16 was granted bail by the Gujarat High Court.

Narayan Sai who had been absconding for many days, was arrested n Wednesday, Dec 2013, near Pipli in Haryana. Sai told police that he had moved around in five different states during all these days.
Two sisters had lodged complaints against Narayan Sai and his father Asaram of rape, sexual assault, illegal confinement and other charges. [Husband of woman who accused Narayan Sai of rape attacked]
Surat police had booked Sai under various IPC sections including rape, unnatural sex, molestation, wrongful confinement, unlawful assembly, rioting armed with deadly weapon, criminal intimidation and criminal conspiracy.
The complaint against his father, 74-year-old Asaram, which was initially lodged at Surat's Jehangirpura police station, was transferred to Ahmedabad's Chandkheda police station, since the alleged incident took place there. [Assault, rape, abortion: When son Narayan Sai left Asaram Bapu behind]
Asaram is currently lodged in Jodhpur jail after being arrested in September for alleged sexual assault on a minor girl at his Jodhpur ashram.
