Anna Hazare 'very weak', fast enters seventh day
"Anna has lost 4.3 kg since the fast began," his aide Suresh Pathare told a news agency.
According to a report, anti-corruption crusader Anna's health is deteriorating and doctors may put him on ventilator, if needed. They have also set up an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and cardiac monitors in his room.
A doctor treating him said that the "ketone level in Anna's urine has gone dangerously up to three plus".
"We've advised him to take some glucose. It's up to him now. As of now he is stable but our teams are monitoring closely and will take adequate measures", he added.
76-year-old Anna has been on fast since December 10 in his hometown Ralegan Siddhi in Maharashtra.

While Hazare praised the amended draft Lokpal bill presented in the Rajya Sabha, his one time protege Arvind Kejriwal has dismissed it as a "jokepal".
Addressing a press conference in Ralegan Siddhi yesterday, Hazare had said, "I accept it completely. If this Bill is passed, I will end my fast. The Bill will help the poor people of this country".
Kejriwal has expressed his opposition to the Bill and Hazare's acceptance. "I'm really surprised. How can Anna accept sarkari Lokpal Bill? Sarkari Lokpal is a jokepal. Who is misguiding him?" he had said.
Hazare has requested the Samajwadi Party to extend support to the Bill. "I am confident that all the parties will support it, and it will be passed," he said.
Meanwhile, the former IPS officer and Anna's supporter Kiran Bedi expressed concerns over Anna's health on Twitter:
