Chess
Chennai, Nov 21: It is a crucial game today for the five-times world chess champion Vishwanathan Anand. With 4 draws and 2 losses, Anand is determined but also a little worried as the Norwegian opponent Magnus Carlsen seems to have high chances of turning the table in the next four games. Meanwhile, for Anand the ninth game is one last chance to retain the crown.

Chess experts believe that Anand will be playing white today, which may give him a chance to win. But, if he loses this game, we need to gear up for a new chess champ. Anand will be playing white from now. A victory now can reduce the deficit to just 1 point and also unsettle Carlsen appears to be relaxed till now with a lead of 5-3.

But Anand is a tireless fighter, say his acquaintances and he has made it very clear in his post-game conference: "he match situation explains itself and I guess it's my job to liven things up but I guess I will try in the next game." Even as Anand plans on his next crucial move, Carlsen just needs a 1.5 from the coming 4 games.
