Amit Shah is not at all a good strategist: Siddaramaiah
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said BJP chief Amit Shah was not a good strategist at all, except for communal clashes Amit Shah has no other strategy for Karnataka. Siddaramaiah in an exclusive interview with ANI exuded confidence that the Congress will get a clear majority in the elections.
Siddaramaiah stated that Amit Shah was not at all a good strategist and asked, "what strategy has he got in Karnataka? Except for communal clashes nothing else".
He asserted, "There will be no hung assembly, I am very clear about it. Therefore this question doesn't arise at all. I will 100% win in both Badami and Chamundeshwari. I don't have any strong opponent in these two places."
"The youth in Karnataka like Rahul Gandhi, his campaigning in the state has had a big impact on the youth. Victory in Karnataka will be a stepping stone for Congress for the 2019 Lok Sabha polls," Siddaramaiah said.
Siddaramaiah said His government's social welfare schemes will play a key role in the elections, adding, " I am just a symbolic head of the Government. People are happy with us, we have fulfilled promises."
On the possibility of a coalition against BJP, he said, "I wish all secular-minded parties come together and defeat these communal forces."
On the allegation that JDS elements are more powerful in Congress, he replied, "Deve Gowda had expelled me from the party (JDS). How come I will have any relationship with him? I'm 100% Congressman, my friends are also Congressmen. They are committed to social justice and secularism."
