The Jaish-e-Mohammad has claimed responsibility for the attack on the Sunjunwan Army camp even as Pakistan continued to deny any role in the incident.

An audio clip which is in the possession of the Intelligence Bureau makes it clear that the Pakistan based outfit was behind the attack. In the audio clip the chief of the outfit, Maulana Masood Azhar is heard claiming responsibility for the attack.

He says that the Indian Army was surprised how the mujahideens managed reach Jammu from Kashmir. Sunjuwan is not even on the border and despite that, the fidayeens managed to reach the camp, he also is heard saying.

He is further heard saying that the Jaish has teamed up with outfits such as the Lashkar-e-Tayiba and Hizbul Mujahideen and are working in tandem.

The fidayeen hit on the camp last week claimed 10 lives. Azhar is also heard claiming responsibility for the attack on Srinagar. He says that when the attack was on in Jammu, our men set Srinagar on fire.
