After taking over the reins of the AIADMK, Sasikala Natarajan made a passionate speech narrating her commitment to the party and its former chief, late J Jayalalithaa.
Chennai, Dec 31: In her first ever public address after taking charge as the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam's general secretary, Sasikala Natarajan showed traces of Jayalalithaa's oratorical skills as party men cheered her on.
Sasikala carefully made repeat references to her loyalty to the late Jayalalithaa and to her respect for M G Ramachandran. She also assured the cadre that MGR's birth centenary celebrations will be carried out on a large scale in 2017.
