Ahead of Eid al-Adha, UP govt issues guidelines says,'No open sacrifice of animals'
Luckow, Aug 21: 24 hours ahead of Eid al-Adha 2018, Bakrid or Bakra Eid in India, the Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday has issued guidelines across the state.
It has reportedly directed the police authorities and the administration to ensure that the sacrifice of the animals was not taking place in the open during the upcoming festival of Bakrid or Bakra-Eid or Eid-ul-Adha.
The guideline said,'No open sacrifice of animals. Blood offal won't be dumped in drains. Protected animals can't be sacrificed'.
The BJP leader added that the following measures were being taken by the government to ensure that the religious sentiments of other communities were not affected.
Adityanath ordered all the senior officials to conduct patrolling in sensitive areas and visit the respective districts.
