After Sarathkumar, IT raids at actor Raadhika's office in Chennai

The income tax department' crackdown has continued in Chennai. A day after actor turned politician Sarathkumar was grilled following raids at his residence, officials of the income tax department carried out searches at his wife's media house office.

Raids were conducted at Raadhika Sarathkumar's Raadan media works premises in T Nagar of Chennai on Tuesday. The production house based in Tamil Nadu is promoted by the actor couple jointly. Radaan began as a proprietary business in 1994 and subsequently converting into a corporate entity in 1999. Searches were also conducted at Sarathkumar's residence for the second time in less than a week.

The raids come days after sleuths from the income tax department seized documents from Sarathkumar and Tamil Nadu minister Vijayabhaskar's residences. Sarathkumar was grilled by income tax officials on Monday after which fresh searches are being conducted on properties owned by him and his kin.
