‘AAP’s Amantullah Khan is a terrorist’, says BJP’s OP Sharma
New Delhi, Aug 6: Bharatiya Janata Party MLA OP Sharma on Monday, stirred a controversy in the Delhi Assembly by referring to Aam Aadmi Party's Amanatullah Khan as a 'terrorist', as CNN-News 18 reported.
Notably, Sharma was speaking on water shortage in his constituency. During his speech, he also criticised government officers.
The BJP MLA further said that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is a supporter of terrorists.
Hitting out at the BJP MLA over his statement, Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia demanded apology from him. He claimed that the BJP is trying to dub all Muslims as terrorists.
"This is not the question of an MLA. How can he use this word in the House? It shows the mentality of his (BJP) party. Strict action should be taken against him," Sisodia asserted.
