Aamir Khan's intolerant remark: Now Kannada superstar Upendra slams him
Bengaluru, Nov 25: A superstar from Kannada film industry, sandalwood and who is branded by his fans as the 'Real Star', Upendra on Tuesday in a series of tweets took a sharp dig at Bollywood actor Aamir Khan's comment on raging debate of intolerance.
A director-cum-actor who has mastered the art of weaving sarcastic screenplay to highlight loopholes in the system alleged that Aamir Khan is a coward because the popular actor spoke of leaving the country rather than making an attempt to fix the problem.
"Dear @aamir_khan, you were one of the heroes whom I admired, if there is any intolerance as a hero you need to stand-up and try resolve it," one tweet said.
In the continuation of his views, his another tweet stated "But if you runaway from it then you will be known as coward, regret to say @aamir_khan, you are no longer a hero for me n many other fans."
Upendra's last Kannada movie Uppi 2 bagged crores of money in the box office. The movie narrated a subtle human philosophy and was critically acclaimed by many directors cutting across cinema industries.
However, Upendra in order to justify that the country is still safe to make a living said in another tweet that Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan's movies, that are about to hit the big screens shortly, will become blockbusters in the same country.
The tweet read "Don't worry Aamir n Shahrukh Khan, your next movie will be superhit!!!. Indians will prove how tolerant they are and you very well know it."
