8 dead after a boat capsizes in Bihar, 7 persons rescued
The people in the ill-fated boat were returning after taking part in marriage function in Purnia.
At least eight people died after a boat capsized in Bihar's Bhagalpur on Sunday. Seven people have been rescued so far while the rescue operations are underway. The boat capsized while the people were crossing the Kosi river. Reports say that the boat was overloaded.
According to media reports, over 15 people were in the boat when it lost balance and toppled in the middle of the river.
