According to a Geo TV report 7 Pakistani soldiers were killed after Indian forces carried out firing at the Line of Control (LoC) late Sunday night, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.
The report also says that there was firing along the Bhimber sector at the LoC.
Ever since India carried out a surgical there has been unprovoked firing along the Line of Control by Pakistan. India has been giving a befitting reply to Pakistan.
India says that any unprovoked firing by Pakistan will be dealt with severely. India says the firing by Pakistan is to provide cover fire for terrorists who are trying to infiltrate into the Valley.
The Valley has been on the boil since the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani. The Valley has been tense and several terrorists had infiltrated. Counter insurgency operations are on in full swing.
