New Delhi, Mar 30: As many as 15 slums were gutted in fire on Thursday in Vikas Marg area, officials said on Thursday. No casualty or injury to anyone was reported, said officials from fire department.

The jhuggis were gutted in fire when a spark arose from a wire passing through the area, they said. Most of the people who lived in this area worked as daily wage labourers, who claim to have stored all their income inside their houses, which have now been burnt down, police said.
