This viral video of Barack Obama dancing with granny in Kenya is enough to make you happy
A video of former American president Barack Obama dancing with his grandmother in Kenya went viral.
New Delhi, July 21: While in India we are debating whether or not Congress president Rahul Gandhi did the right thing by hugging Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the no-confidence motion debate in the Lok Sabha on Friday, a video of former American president Barack Obama dancing with his grandmother in Kenya went viral.
Obama recently visited Kenya to deliver a lecture on former South African president, anti-apartheid revolutionary and Nobel Laureate Nelson Mandela whose 100th birth anniversary was celebrated across the world.
During his visit to Kenya, Obama also attended a function hosted as a part of the inauguration of a sports and vocational resource centre in Siaya County started by his half-sister Dr Auma Obama.
Sitting in the audience, while performers were singing on the stage, Obama stood up and broke into an impromptu dance. Soon his 96-year-old step-grandmother Sarah and sister Auma joined him and they all danced together for a brief period.
Obama's gesture moved everyone and many on social media not only appreciated the former president's dance moves to the tune of traditional tribal music but stated that they miss him as the head of America. Of course, his grandmother was the star performer of the day.
You too watch the video and start your day on a happy note:

I love me a good "Dad Dance". Lord, this warms my heart. Happy, now suddenly very sad. I am a bundle of emotions lately. Wondering if it could get a hug from him if I asked nicely. Sigh. Coffee ☕ needed.
