New Delhi, Jan 10: A day that is commemorated to celebrate the constitution of India, is also a celebration of unity, integrity and secularism.

26th January is awaited not just for its colourful carnivals or prize distribution ceremonies, it is acknowledged for giving India its own constitution.

This year, however, it will be significant in many ways with India hoping for a major change in the next couple of months.

The Lok Sabha elections are due and there is a new party (AAP) on the fray that has shattered the foundations of the veteran parties (Congress and BJP) that have been sharing an either/or relationship ever since India saw the light of democracy.

Moreover, this was the first republic day for the newly appointed 'Aam Aadmi', the common man. As Arvind Kejriwal meets the participants of the Republic Day parade, rehearsing at Rajpath, it is as if the common man walks down the path of democracy, winning votes and aspiring to win hearts.
