New Delhi/Ahmedabad: This week, the skies in India's major cities just got brighter and more colourful.

On the occasion of Makar Sankranti, many cities in India organised the cultural programme of kite-flying on Sunday.

In Gujarat's capital, Ahmedabad, the state Chief Minister Narendra Modi took participation in kite-flying while Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar pulled some kite-strings in Patna.
