Meet Rajinikanth’s ‘hero’ Yasin, who impressed all with his honesty after he returned Rs 50,000
Chennai, July 16: In today's world where honesty is rare to find, a small boy from Tamil Nadu showed us the real meaning of the virtue in a brilliant way.
Seven-year-old Yasin from Chinna Semu in the Erode district of the state recently found a wallet on the road. It had Rs 50,000 inside it which was more than enough to "corrupt" anyone's mind.
But Yasin, the class 2 student, who found the lost wallet while he was going to his school, decided to hand over the wallet with all its belonging to the principal of the Panchayat Union Primary School where he is a student.
The principal handed over the wallet to the police. Yasin's honest act caught everyone's attention. Even Tamil superstar Rajinikanth heard about the young boy's story.
Impressed by the integrity of the boy, the actor-politician decided to invite Yasin's family to meet him in Chennai. After meeting the boy and his family, Rajinikanth not only showered praises on Yasin on Sunday but decided to sponsor his higher education.
"In this age where people cheat, steal and kill even for a little money, he (Yasin) said that this is not my money and handed it over. What honesty, really. It is a great quality," Rajinikanth was quoted as saying by The Indian Express.
"He is studying in a government school now. So let him continue studying there. After this, whatever he desires to study I will sponsor him. He is a big inspiration to everyone and every child," Rajinikanth added.
The Tamil superstar did the right thing by acknowledging the boy's virtue and deciding to sponsor his higher education. Such a kind gesture on Rajinikanth's part will definitely encourage others to practice honesty like Yasin in their day today life.
