Bangalore, Nov 18: Extremely powerful tornadoes swept through the US Midwest on Sunday, killing at least 5 people and injuring many others. Several buildings were destroyed and vehicles over-turned in the states of Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky. The tornadoes struck Illinois hard creating a lot of damage.
Meanwhile, 50 people were killed when a domestic Russian airline crashed in Kazan, Russia. The plane had 44 passengers and six crew members, who were killed in the crash. LOcal news there said that the plane has tried to land three times before landing.
