(In pics) Parade with pride: Namma Pride Parade 2016
Colours of Bengaluru: LGBT community spreads a message through Namma Pride Parade.
The rainbow-coloured flag could be spotted from a distance. And following it were the LGBT community and their supporters in the brightest possible attire.
The walk started from Tulasi Thota near Central Railway Station to Town Hall in Bengaluru.
'Pride Parade' is an act of solidarity between the members of the LGBTQIA (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex and asexual) community who voice their need to exercise their freedom, emphasizing their intolerance of growing transphobia.
It couldn't have been better since Nov 20 was also the International Day of Transgender Remembrance.
