Ganesh Chaturthi is a Hindu festival which marks the birth of Lord Ganesh. The ten-day Ganesh festival would commence from Thursday, Sept 17.
With chants of 'Ganpati Bappa Morya' and 'Ganpati ki jai jaikaar', his devotees will place Lord Ganesha idols at their homes.
Every year, Ganesha idols come in different varieties to shower blessings on his devotees. Sweets and modaks are Ganesha's favourite.
