No separate permission/ approval/ e-permit will be required for inter and intra state movement.

Are flights from UK to India banned:
Yes, from 11.59 pm December 22 till 11.59 pm on December 31

What about those who have taken off on flights or which reach India by December 22?
These flights are allowed.

What are the rules for passengers who have arrived from UK to India?
There would be separate isolation and they will be subject to mandatory RT-PCR test on arrival.

Will genome sequencing be conducted?
Only for COVID-19 positive passengers arriving from the UK since December 22.

Are the guidelines applicable only if a passenger is coming from UK?
The SOP applies for all International passengers who have travelled or transited through UK in the past four weeks.

Will there be institutional quarantine?
Yes, for all contacts of infected travellers seated in the same row, 3 rows in front and 3 rows behind along with identified cabin crew, who arrived at airports in India between December 21 and December 23.
