Tamil Nadu poll 2016: Live non-stop talk marathon for voters
Chennai, May 6: As assembly elections in Tamil Nadu are just few days away, the popular Tamil YouTube channel 'Smile Settai' has launched a a live non-stop talk marathon, "Vai Raja Mai", to motivate people to vote on May 16.
Smile Seattai, as the name suggests is an innovative way to to get in touch with the people of Tamil Nadu and to interact with them in a satirical manner. The panel talks about state's political affairs. To reach 100 percent voter turnout target, it has partnered with with the Election Commission of India to get huge number of voters at the polling booths.
The campaign 'marathon' talk-show-cum-missed-call-campaign titled Vai Raja Mai kicked off on Monday, May 2.
"We will provide details on the top 10 candidates from all 234 constituencies including their assets, qualification and track record", Vigneshkanth, Content Head, Smile Settai, was quoted saying as to The Hindu.
To make their campaign viral, channel will also be releasing a dubsmash video and a song featuring popular actors.

also
encouraging
people
to
vote
in
huge
number
on
May
16.
The
results
will
be
announced
on
May
19
and
the
fate
of
Tamil
Nadu
Chief
Minister
J
Jayalalithaa
and
DMK
will
be
decided
for
next
for
five
years.
