Disqualification of 18 AIADMK MLAs: TTV Dinakaran questions split verdict
RK Nagar MLA TTV Dinakaran raised doubts over the divided verdict in the disqualification of 18 AIADMK MLAs case on Thursday.
Dinakaran speaking after the Madras High Court judgment, said, "In today's split verdict, one judge has said the speaker's decision was wrong. The Chief Justice who has upheld the speaker's order had struck down Puducherry speaker's decision. How can the law be different for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry?"
"There is a question mark on judiciary after this decision. The verdict has shown that this is an anti-people government," Dinakaran told a private TV channel.
He called the incumbent EPS-OPS as 'anti-people government'.
"These 18 MLAs were chosen by Amma(Jayalalithaa) and the people. They have undergone severe trauma over the last few months. No matter what the temptation, all my MLAs are with me and we will continue to fight. This is a fight of our ideology," he said.
Dinakaran further said that this government has got a few more months. The expiry date has been extended and I don't see this government continuing for more than few months.
