Punjabi singer Jelly charged for gangraping, making video of popular actress
According to media reports, the actress, a resident of Chandigarh, has claimed that the singer and his friends made an MMS of the act and blackmailed her.
She was threatened with dire consequences that if she told the incident to anyone, the 'rape video' would be uploaded online.
Shockingly, the victim, even got pregnant and was forced to undergo abortion by Jelly and his accomplices.
The actress also alleged that Jelly and his aides assaulted her, kicked her in the stomach and dumped her in Phase 1 of Mohali, to die on October 17.

After regaining consciousness, she called her friend who took her to a nearby hospital, from where she called the women helpline and the police to file a complaint against the accused.
The Mohali police said that they have registered the FIR under sections 363 (kidnapping,), 364 (kidnapping or abducting with intent of murder), 376 (rape), 376 D (gang rape), 506 (criminal intimidation), 313 (causing miscarriage without woman's consent), 328 (causing hurt by means of poison, etc with intent to commit an offence), 120B (criminal conspiracy) of the IPC and under Section 66E (violation of privacy) of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
Meanwhile, all the accused are absconding.
Besides Jelly, the three other accused have been identified as Swaran Singh, Maninder Singh Manga and Charanpreet Singh.
Jelly's wife Paramjeet Kaur has also been booked as one of the conspirator.
In her Police statement, she revealed that came in singer's contact in June last year. In July 2013, she was taken to a house in Sector-57, Mohali, where she was allegedly drugged and gangraped after being served with sedatives-laced soft drink.
The victim is said to be married, but living separately from her husband, and is seeking a divorce from him.
