Bengaluru,July 28: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah left for Belgium at 4.00 am on Thursday morning following the news of his son's illness.

As soon as Siddaramaiah's family knew of Rakesh's illness, CM's wife Parvatamma rushed to Belgium along with a doctor.
Siddaramaiah had on Thursday appealed to External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and sought her help to coordinate with the Indian Embassy in Belgium in order to provide the best medical treatment to his son.
Sources close to Siddaramaiah told OneIndia that Rakesh has developed a liver-related issue and might be critical.
